That’s why we’re proud to announce that our team will once again be taking part in the Macmillan Northumberland Coast Mighty Hike 13th September 2025, a beautiful and challenging event in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, our chosen charity partner.
This year, our team is lacing up their hiking boots to walk the rugged and breathtaking Northumberland coastline, all to raise vital funds that help people affected by cancer. Whether it’s financial, emotional, or practical support, Macmillan is there for those who need it most. And we’re proud to do our part to ensure they can keep going.
Led from the front
Our company directors Jaco & Tanya Esterhuysen and Nick & Kelly Tucker, will be leading the charge as they guide the X3 Consulting team through the scenic miles of the Mighty Hike challenge. Their leadership, passion, and personal commitment to this cause reflect everything we stand for as a business.
Why we hike
Macmillan Cancer Support is more than just a charity, it’s a lifeline for millions. Every year, X3 Consulting raises funds to support the incredible work they do, and the Mighty Hike has become a meaningful event in our calendar. It’s a chance for our team to come together, challenge ourselves physically, and make a tangible difference.
The challenge ahead
The Northumberland Coast Mighty Hike is no small feat. Covering 26 miles of coastal paths, castles, dunes, and hidden coves, it’s a tough but stunning trek — one that mirrors the journey many people go through while facing cancer. We hike to honour those journeys and to ensure that Macmillan can be there for every step.
