How much does
Sage Intacct cost?

Sage Intacct is available in different formats including pre-made and bespoke packages. The cost varies depending on the package you choose, or the specific components included a bespoke solution.

Sage Intacct operates on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, encompassing software hosting, functionality, and access to upgrades as part of the licensing agreement.

The software offers complete customisation, enabling users to pay only for necessary features, with billing typically structured on an annual basis.

Separate costs for implementation, training, and any add-on features or integrations are billed by your Sage Intacct implementation partner.

How is the cost calculated?

The cost is calculated across four key areas based around the core modules and additional modules selected, how may users, the number of entities and the implementation costs:

Component

Modules

Sage Intacct is built on six powerful features, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, General Ledger, Order Management & Purchasing.

These modules establish a robust foundation for businesses to streamline financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Additional modules can be added to tailor the functionality of the software to any business. Each additional module is priced individually.

See below for a detailed description of the modules available for Sage Intacct.

Component

Users

A Sage Intacct user is an individual who has been granted access to the Sage Intacct platform to perform various tasks related to financial management and operations.

Each user typically has specific permissions and access levels determined by their role and responsibilities. User roles may include business account team, warehouse employees, employees, and project employees.

All user roles are priced the same.

Component

Entities

In Sage Intacct, an entity typically refers to a distinct organisational unit within a company’s structure, such as a subsidiary, division, department, or branch. Each entity can have its own chart of accounts, financial transactions, and reporting requirements.

Your first legal entity is included with the Sage Intacct core accounting bundle; additional legal entities are a further cost and can be tailored to your specific needs.

Businesses with large numbers of entities or entities with limited transaction volumes have optional pricing bundles.

Component

Implementation

Implementation includes scoping your requirements, configuring the system, migrating data, and providing extensive user training.

An estimate of service costs is that for every £1.00 you spend in subscription, you can expect to spend £1.00 – £1.75 for implementation costs from X3 Consulting.

So if you’re spending £20,000 on a Sage Intacct annual subscription, your implementation costs will run between £20,000 and £35,000 as an estimate.

We are aware that all projects are unique which is why we will tailor each package specifically to your business needs.
