Modern Slavery and human trafficking Statement

 

X3 Consulting Limited is committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its business operations and supply chains and to acting ethically and with integrity in all business relationships.

This statement is made in accordance with section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps we have taken and continue to take to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains.

Our Organisation, Structure and Business

X3 Consulting Limited is a UK-based consultancy providing enterprise software implementation, advisory, and support services to UK organisations. Our operations are based in the United Kingdom and we employ professional consultants, support staff, and administrative personnel.

The company is privately owned and operates under the oversight of its directors and senior management team.

Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains are limited in scope and primarily consist of UK-based software vendors, technology partners, and specialist consultancy providers. Key suppliers include Sage plc (UK) and Frontline Consultancy (UK).

Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking

X3 Consulting Limited operates a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and responsibly in all our business dealings and relationships.

This commitment is supported by our internal policies, including:

  • Code of Conduct

  • Whistleblowing Policy

  • Recruitment and Employment Policies

These policies are designed to ensure fair treatment, lawful employment practices, and appropriate reporting mechanisms.

Due Diligence Processes

We take a proportionate, risk-based approach to due diligence in our supply chains. This includes:

  • Assessing the nature and location of our suppliers

  • Prioritising UK-based suppliers where possible

  • Seeking confirmation from suppliers that they comply with applicable modern slavery legislation

  • Reserving the right to request further information or assurances where appropriate

Risk Assessment and Management

We recognise that certain sectors and geographies present higher risks of modern slavery. Based on our business model, geographic footprint, and supplier profile, we consider the overall risk within our supply chain to be low.

Nevertheless, we remain vigilant and:

  • Periodically review our supplier base

  • Monitor changes in supplier operations or ownership

  • Take appropriate action if any concerns are identified

Effectiveness and Performance Monitoring

We assess the effectiveness of our approach through:

  • Ongoing supplier engagement

  • Management review of any reported concerns

  • Confirmation that no known incidents of modern slavery have been identified within our business or supply chains

We will continue to review and enhance our controls as our business grows.

Training and Awareness

We ensure that relevant staff are aware of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking and understand how to raise concerns. Awareness is reinforced through:

  • Management briefings

  • Internal communications

  • Encouragement of reporting through established channels
