We are pleased to announce that X3 Consulting have been awarded Cyber Essentials certification from IASME.

Cyber Essentials is the UK government certification which protects SMEs from 80% of cyber attacks. It’s the recommended level of cybersecurity for all businesses.

Having achieved the accreditation we now continuously monitor every registered device to make sure we are secure 24/7/365.

There are four key reasons to attain the Cyber Essentials certification.

  1. It helps to protect against cyber attacks. Cyber Essentials accreditation mitigates the risk by identifying and resolving the most common weaknesses, providing a strong base for us to work from.
  2. Cyber Essentials prepares the way for GDPR compliance by reducing the likelihood of us experiencing a GDPR breach.
  3. The freedom to bid for government contracts, as Cyber Essentials is now a mandatory requirement.
  4. Demonstrates that we’re serious about cybersecurity and are a company you can trust to handle your data.

The Cyber Essentials scheme is part of the UK’s National Cyber Security Program and having the certification shows you are serious about security.

Director Nick Tucker commented, “Our Cyber Essentials accreditation demonstrates X3 Consulting are serious about protecting our customers against common cyber threats. When it comes to supplier selection this is a simple and effective way to measure competing applicants. If you’re a government or privately funded organisation looking for a services partner serious about security then get in touch”.
