As 2025 draws to a close, we at X3 Consulting look back at the year in review and take a moment to reflect on a dynamic year marked by significant investment in both our team’s expertise and our client relationships. This year was defined by our unwavering commitment to ensuring we deliver the best-in-class support and services our customers rely on. We didn’t just meet the standards; we actively worked to raise them.
Deepening Our Expertise: A Commitment to Continuous Learning
Our philosophy has always centered on developing our skills and learning to remain at the forefront of the Sage ecosystem. Consequently, continuous training was a non-negotiable priority throughout the year.
This intense focus kicked off in June with a flurry of crucial activities:
- Our team completed intensive advanced training for Datalinx at Sage’s Head Office in Newcastle, deepening our specialised knowledge of seamless warehouse integration.
- We held our annual X3Collaborate team day at Slaley Hall, dedicated to internal alignment, skills refinement, and charting strategic goals.
- The team attended the Sage Futures event in Atlanta, gaining crucial insight into the North American market and product roadmap.
This drive for global knowledge culminated in November when key members of the team flew to the Sage Futures event in Barcelona. Therefore, by engaging in both North American and European Sage conferences, we secured a comprehensive, 360-degree view of the global product landscape, ensuring our advice to you is always forward-thinking and well-informed.
Strengthening Connections: Clients, Community, and Collaboration
While our technical skills are paramount, our successful partnerships are equally built on trust and connection. Therefore, we made sure to step away from the keyboard to engage with our clients and community:
- In June, we hosted our successful X3Connect client training day in Nottingham, providing direct, hands-on value to empower your teams to maximise their Sage X3 and Sage Intacct environment. Later that month, we were thrilled to host clients at Newcastle Races for the prestigious Gosforth Park Cup, fostering great relationships outside the office environment.
- In July, we strengthened client bonds at the iconic Goodwood Festival of Speed, sharing a day of innovation and speed.
- A dedicated team took on the physical and mental challenge of the Northumberland Mighty Hike in September to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer support, demonstrating our team’s collective resilience and commitment to giving back to the community.
Connecting and Supporting our Customers
As 2025 draws to a close, X3 Consulting are proud of the strides we’ve made alongside our clients, delivering ERP transformations that drive real business outcomes. This year, we continued to support our customers C&T Matrix (global manufacturing / packaging consumables) in unifying their international operations under Sage X3, creating a streamlined platform for sales, stock, manufacturing and finance across multiple sites. We supported Multevo, a multi-service infrastructure and civil-engineering provider after we completed their migration from Sage 50 to Sage Intacct, giving them cloud-based real-time financial visibility, automated reporting, and dramatically improved operational efficiency. And we’ve continued to work closely with clients including Professionals At Play and Correct Contract Services to support their upgraded their finance systems, enabling smarter workflows, faster closing cycles, and more reliable financial control.
These successes from manufacturing to services, from distribution to infrastructure reflect our commitment to tailored, reliable ERP implementations and show how the right system, paired with the right consulting partner, can transform business operations. As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited to build on this momentum and help more organisations become future-ready.
Looking Ahead: Innovation and Investment in 2026
